The Casablanca & San Antonio Valleys are famous for its fresh coastal white wines, elegant Pinot Noirs, and some impressive cool-climate reds Travel from Santiago, visiting beautiful wineries and tasting the most delicious wines in each of the wine valleys along the route. You will also enjoy great views of the Mountains, beautiful scenery, and regional cuisine while visiting local villages and lodging in small and luxury hotels.
Meet and greet your guide at the Santiago airport and private transfer to your hotel, which is located in a charming neighborhood close to restaurants and shops – Afternoon at leisure – In the evening, before your welcome dinner at gourmet restaurant, we will go over the trip itinerary and have an introduction to the Chilean wine regions, given by a wine expert – Overnight at the luxury hotel in Santiago
Breakfast and check-out, depart to Casablanca Valley – The first stop will be Loma Larga, an exclusive family winery that makes fine cool-climate reds; it is located on a typical Chilean hacienda. Enjoy a private visit and premium wine tasting – Lunch at a local gourmet restaurant – Continue to Kingston Family Vineyards where you will taste one of Chile’s best Sauvignon Blancs and Pinot Noirs – Next we head for Valparaiso, one of South America’s oldest port cities – Check-in and evening at leisure to enjoy the hotel’s facilities (spa, restaurant, or the beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean – Overnight at the luxury hotel in Valparaiso
After breakfast and check-out, explore the port of Valparaiso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It sprawls over the 32 hills that surround the bay, and until 1930 it was the country’s most important trading center – Valparaiso city tour to discover its historic sites and the charming “elevators” that take residents up and down the steep hills – Continue to the San Antonio Valley for a gourmet lunch at the Matetic Winery restaurant, followed by a private visit and premium wine tasting at Casa Marin, a beautiful little family winery focused on fine whites and Pinot Noirs – Dinner and overnight at Matetic Hotel
After breakfast and check-out, we will visit Matetic Winery and enjoy a premium wine tasting, their modern wine cellar inserted in the natural surroundings with spectacular views of the vineyards – Continue to the Casablanca Valley for a gourmet wine tasting lunch at House restaurant – After lunch, you will enjoy an easy-going walking visit and premium wine tasting at Emiliana, the largest organic winery in the world. All of its vineyards are now under organic and biodynamic agriculture – Overnight at the luxury hotel in Santiago
Breakfast and check-out – Depart for a City tour through Santiago’s historic downtown and surrounding areas – Lunch at a local restaurant – Private visit and premium wine tasting at Aquitania, a small winery known for its fine red wines from Maipo Valley and pioneering Chardonnay & Pinot Noir from Chile’s far south in the Malleco Valley – Transfer to Santiago airport for the return flight home – End of the trip
